For
a number of years Tony and Ruth Hood, members of High Street
Chapel, have been conscious of a call to enter full time
Christian work. Coupled with that, High Street has been involved
in local schools work
On 6th April 2006, after 20 years secular employment with the
Post Office, Tony left his job to develop a children's and
schools work with his wife Ruth. They will be working with
Primary and Middle schools in the local area,
taking assemblies, lunch-time and after-schools clubs, and
possible schools lessons. Tony is also booked to speak at youth
camps and holiday clubs in the summer. For more information

On Sunday 29th April 2007, a commissioning service was held to
mark the start of their work.
